Live sax for catering halls and receptions in Throggs Neck, Pelham Bay, Country Club, City Island and across the Bronx.
The halls
The classic Bronx wedding happens in a catering hall that has been doing this for decades: a full room, a long night and a floor that fills early and stays full. It is one of the best environments we play in, because the crowd does not need convincing.
That changes what we bring. Here the ambient block is short and the high-energy block does the work. The equivalent page for Manhattan and the wider area is saxophone player for weddings in New York.
The music
Most of our Bronx weddings are Latin weddings, and the difference shows immediately: the floor fills on the first track rather than after three. That means the saxophone can go straight to the high-energy block instead of building toward it.
Salsa, merengue and bachata carry these nights, and the live line sits on top of the DJ set rather than replacing it. Nothing about the party has to slow down for the live music to happen.
Amazing musician!! It was the talk of the party, highly recommend 10/10 🥳🎷
Very nice
Muy lindo el evento. A los invitados les encantó.
Hora loca
The hora loca is not an add-on at a Bronx wedding, it is often the part guests came for. A live saxophone at the centre of it is a different experience from one built only on props and recorded music.
We agree the timing against the DJ's set and the hall's schedule, because these venues usually run several events and the end time is not negotiable.

Frequently asked
Three questions specific to catering halls and Latin weddings in the borough.
Frequently, and they are among our favourite rooms. The floor fills early and stays full, which lets the saxophone go straight to the high-energy block instead of building toward it. Tell us the hall when you ask for a quote and we can usually say straight away what its schedule and rules allow.
Yes, and at Bronx weddings it is usually the centre of the night rather than an extra. The saxophone plays live inside it, which is a different thing from a hora loca built only on props and recorded tracks. We set the timing against the DJ's set so the two build on each other instead of competing.
It leans that way here, because most of our Bronx weddings ask for it. Salsa, merengue, bachata and cumbia carry the floor. That said, the balance is yours to set. Plenty of couples want the cocktail hour in English and the party in Spanish, and that works perfectly well.
